Slack Has An AI Chatbot That Can Help Users Finish Work Quickly

Slack is the latest developer to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the platform, with chatbots as personal business assistants.

The owner, Salesforce introduced Slack GPT, a new AI conversation experience on the platform that can help complete user work.

Slack GPT will give users the option to use the integration of a generative AI application, various language models, and the ability to access customer data insights that are secure from Slack's Customer 360 and Data Cloud.

With a chatbot, users can also adjust the message tone, summarize meetings and speed up unreaded messages.

Users can also use chatbots to record everything in Slack group calls. Chatbots can also get dozens of messages users miss in certain chats while they are outside the office.

With the new AI upgrade, users can use a simple command to automate tasks with AI.

For example, marketing work, they can use it to automatically create copies and images for blogs, email campaigns, social media, and direct ads to channels for team collaboration.

"Generative AI has enormous potential to redefine how work is done and unlock significant business productivity," Slack CEO Lijane Jones was quoted as saying by Metro, Friday, May 5.

"The true power of this technology is when AI can analyze and act based on the most valuable data of the company's most trusted resources, its own internal knowledge," he added.

For information in March, the company announced the ChatGPT app, which allows OpenAI chatbots to be withdrawn to the Slack conversation interface.

Now, the Slack GPT is expanded and will support ChatGPT, Claude chatbot, and Slack's Einstein GPT chatbot as well.

Einstein GPT is an AI Salesforce to release potential Customer Relations Management (CRM) systems and conversation data to increase organizational productivity as a whole.

But it should be noted, the final user will not be able to get the Slack GPT for some time. According to Salesforce, the AI capabilities that will be entered into the new Slack platform are still in the process of being made and tested.
