New Breakthrough At Cardano (ADA), Milkomeda Feature Gives Ease Of Access For Users

JAKARTA - Blockchain technology company Milkomeda is developing a new feature for Cardano users. This new feature will allow Cardano users to use the EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) contract from any Cardano wallet.

This feature is expected to increase the usefulness of Cardano users, as Ethereum's decentralized application developers (DApps) will be able to build on the Cardano blockchain using Solidity, programming language used to run the Ethereum net, without requiring a new toolkit.

Milkomeda is a company focused on developing the EVM layer on the Cardano blockchain. This EVM layer aims to make Cardano one of the best EVM networks in the crypto world.

With this EVM layer, Cardano will be able to run smart contracts made with Solidity and are compatible with ERC-20 and ERC-721 standards. In addition, Milkomeda also plans to launch stake prizes for all EVM users, including smart contract developers.

This staking prize will be given to users who participate in maintaining the security and consensus of the EVM network. Staking prizes are planned to be paid in the form of an ADA token from Cardano, not Ether.

With this staking prize, Cardano will be an EVM network compatible with the biggest staking prize and has a full-operational staking reward system. Guillemot, CEO of Milkomeda, said that this staking prize is a way to incentivize developers to build on Cardano's EVM layer and receive a five-day reward.

However, not all Cardano users welcomed this new feature from Milkomeda. Some users are dissatisfied with this development at Cardano because it interferes with the validity and uniqueness of the Cardano blockchain as a standalone blockchain network.

Some users are worried that this new feature will make Cardano lose its own identity and become more similar to Ethereum. They argue that Cardano should focus on developing its own blockchain technology instead of emulating other blockchain technology.

This new feature from Milkomeda is still in the testing phase and has not been officially launched. Milkomeda claims that this feature will provide great benefits for Cardano users, both in terms of usability and security. Milkomeda also emphasized that this feature will not change the essence of the Cardano blockchain, but only add additional layers that can be used by users who want to use the EVM contract.
