PS5 Prices Soar High Some Sell Up To IDR 18 Million

JAKARTA - Sony has started selling its next-gen PlayStation 5 (PS5) console in a number of countries. Even a number of retailers are overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of PS5 buyers who are so high.

However, a number of resellers actually take advantage of this moment to reap profits. Many of them bought up the PS5 and sold the next-gen console and sold it at a much higher price.

Orders for these consoles are made on e-commerce sites. The types of consoles that are sold consist of the standard version PS5 (Standard Edition) and the digital version (Digital Edition).

In a number of e-commerce stores, PS 5 pre-order prices also skyrocketed. There are even those who sell it starting from IDR 15,499,000 to IDR 18,499,000 per console.

The official price of the PS5 Standard Edition, which will be sold in Indonesia, is IDR 8,799,000. Meanwhile, the digital version is sold at IDR 7,299,000.

Although it can be ordered starting December 18, 2020. However, new console units will be sent to buyers and can be purchased offline starting January 22, 2021.
