The Apple A14 Bionic Benchmark Score Outperforms The Snapdragon 865 Plus

JAKARTA - Apple jokes about the performance of the A14 Bionic chipset, making the iPhone 12 faster than Android phones on the market. It can even outperform the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus System on Chip (SoC).

Quoting Wccftech, Thursday, October 22, the latest results from the A14 Bionic benchmark test installed on the iPhone 12 scored 1,596 in single core testing. Meanwhile, the multi-core testing session reached 4,027.

This test used GeekBench version 5.2.3 which was also carried out on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. Where the Snapdragon 865 Plus scored 883 in single-core testing and 2,179 for multi-core tests.

When viewed from the comparison, Apple A14 Bionic is almost twice as fast as Snapdragon 865 Plus. Given that the SoC runs on current Android flagship phones.

On the other hand, Qualcomm will soon introduce its newest chipset, the Snapdragon 875 which is claimed to be higher than its predecessor series, both single-core and multi-core. Including developing its own gaming smartphone brand in collaboration with ASUS.

Before introducing their own line of smartphones, Qualcomm could continue to optimize the Snapdragon 875. Let's take a look at the competing scores of the two leading SoCs, on flagship smartphones.
