Failed To Win In The Final Match, Scotland Detained Norway

JAKARTA - Scotland failed to win after being detained in Norway 3-3 in the final match of Group A of the Euro 2024 qualification at the Hampden Park Stadium, Glasgow, Monday, November 20 in the morning WIB.

Scotland drew in the last match of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. Only that match did not affect Scotland's move to qualify for the European Cup finals.

The draw limited to strengthening Scotland's position in second place with 17 points. Meanwhile, Spain closed the qualifying round by winning the group.

Norway, who lost Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard in the match, was ranked third with 11. Norway also failed to qualify for the finals.

Even without Haaland who was injured, Norway started well. They even immediately took the lead when the game had only been running for three minutes through Aron Donnum.

Norway's advantage did not last long. The hosts managed to equalize the score when John McGinn scored from the penalty spot after the Norwegian touched the ball in the box.

Again, Norway was able to trouble Scotland and took the lead again just one minute later. This time, Strand Larsen brought Norway back to a 2-1 lead after breaking into the host's goal.

The match got hotter and more interesting because of the sale and purchase of goals. Scotland equalized again after Leo Ostigard welcomed Scott McTominay's corner in the 33rd minute. The 2-2 score for both teams lasted until the end of the first half.

In the second half, the match continued to be tight. Scotland took the lead after Stuart Armstrong successfully broke into the Norwegian goal in the 59th minute.

The hosts believed they won the match. But Mohammed Elyounoussi failed the win with four minutes remaining. The final score was 3-3.
