JAKARTA - Arsenal lost their first defeat in the English Premier League. In a duel at St James' Park Stadium, Newcastle, Sunday, November 5 in the morning WIB, Arsenal had to admit Newcastle United's 1-0 advantage. Only, Newcastle's victory was considered controversial even though the referee still approved Anthony Gordon's goal.

The referee did not heed Arteta's protests. Newcaste also won the game through controversial goals. The result of the match made Arsenal fail to maintain an unbeaten record.
