JAKARTA - Ferrari racer Charles Leclerc won the pole position of Formula 1 (F1) of the United States Grand Prix (GP) at Circuit of The Americas, Saturday, October 21.
Leclerc became the fastest with a time of 1 minute 34.723 seconds. The racer from Monaco was 0.13 seconds ahead of Mclaren's champion, Lando Norris who was in second place.
While the third position is occupied by the Mercedes GP driver, Lewis Hamilton, with a difference of 1.39 seconds from Leclerc.
"I'm very happy, because I like racing on this track and the atmosphere in this city is amazing. Tomorrow, we start all over again, with the whole day being given to Sprint (Saturday local time), but for now we can enjoy this leading position for Sunday (local time race)," Leclerc said. quoted from the F1 page via Antara.
