Several Important Notes Of Frank Sayuth For The U-17 Indonesian National Team

JAKARTA Indonesian U-17 National Team Consultant (Timnas) Frank telesuth gave several important notes to Garuda Muda in the midst of preparations to appear at the 2023 U-17 World Cup.

The U-17 Indonesian national team has undergone a series of trials and selections to welcome the biennial event. The latest selection took place in Jakarta, Tuesday, August 15, 2023 evening, western Indonesia time.

Coach Garuda Muda Bima Sakti admitted that he had received several inputs and supplies. This input is important to forge the readiness of his squad.

"There are a lot of [inputs], yes. We have communicated with Frank the first time we have seen their mentality first," Bima said when met at Field A, Senyan, Jakarta.

Bima said he and the coaching team would pay close attention to the notes provided. Apart from being mentally, the attitude of players on the field will also be assessed.

"The most important thing is that we will assess their quality as best we can to be able to advance to the training camp that we have undergone," said the former Indonesian national team player.

The U-17 Indonesian national team has previously undergone several trials. Among them are against the youth teams Barcelona, Kashima Antlers, and Persis Solo.

Furthermore, Garuda Muda troops are scheduled to test against the South Korean U-17 national team by the end of this month. After that, the selected players will be taken to a training camp in Germany between September and October.

The 2023 U-17 World Cup will take place in Indonesia from 10 November to 2 December. A total of 24 countries will participate in this two-year event.

In total there are four stadiums that will be used to become match venues. The four stadiums are the Jakarta International Stadium (Jakarta), Gelora Bung Tomo (Surabaya), Manahan (Surakarta), and Di Jalak Harupat (Bandung).
