Victor Osimhen And Napoli Agree On New Contract

JAKARTA Napoli and Victor Osimhen are reported to have blocked the new contract. In the contract, the defending Italian Serie A champion fenced off the flagship striker with a release clause of 150 million euros (IDR 2.5 trillion).

Osimhen's old contract actually just ended in June 2025 with a salary of 5.4 million euros (IDR 81 billion) per season. However, Napoli, who refused to lose the Nigerian international, offered a new contract until June 2027 with a salary of 10 million euros (IDR 168 billion) per season, including bonuses and part of the image rights.

In addition, Gli Azzurri also pinned two different release clauses. The first is for Italian clubs and the second is a special clause for Saudi Pro League clubs which reaches 150 million euros (IDR 2.5 trillion).

Napoli are known to not want to be left behind by the attackers who have helped them win their first Scudetto in more than 30 years and become the first African footballer to be named Capocannoniere or the top scorer of the Italian Serie A.

Moreover, in this summer's transfer window, the former Lille player is the target of major European clubs, such as Manchester United, PSG, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea and several Saudi Pro League teams such as Al-Hilal.

However, as reported by Football Italia, President Napoli, Aurelio De Badminton and Victor Osimhen finally managed to reach an agreement to continue their relationship together at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
