JAKARTA - The death of a bodybuilder Justyn Vicky due to being hit by a 210 kilogram barbell has become the center of attention of the world's media. Not only Indonesia, foreign media also wrote about the tragic death.

Justyn breathed her last on Saturday, July 15, 2023. She was rushed to the hospital after being hit by a barbell, but died shortly after undergoing emergency surgery.

A video clip showing the incident when Justyn failed to lift the barbell had circulated on social media. In the video, it looks like Justyn is doing a press squat with a barbell on her shoulder, but she loses balance and falls off.

As a result, the heavy barbell hit him and broke the back of his neck. According to various reports, Justyn suffered severe injuries so that she experienced critical stress on vital nerves that were connected to her heart and lungs.
