Boubakary Diarra Officially Becomes The Fifth Foreign Player Of PSIS Semarang

PSIS Semarang officially brought in a foreign player from France, Boubakary Diara, to face the Indonesian League 1 competition next season.

Ahead of the Indonesian League 1 next season, PSIS Semarang has now been strengthened by five foreign players.

Before Boubakary Diara, PSIS already had Carlos Fortes, Taisei Marukawa, Vitinho, and Paulo Gali from Timor Leste.

"Today we announce the arrival of the fifth foreign player PSIS," said PSIS CEO Semarang AS Sukawijaya in a press release in Semarang, Saturday.

According to him, the arrival of Dirrra is expected to further strengthen the PSIS midfield with a combination of foreign and local players.

The player who previously played for Mosta FC in the Malta League, he said, would be contracted for one season.

He added that Boubakary Diara had undergone physical, medical, and leg tests.

The 30-year-old player briefly strengthened clubs in a number of countries, such as Portugal, Italy, Lithuania, to Kuwait.
