The Joke Of A Fellow Duet Aldila Sutjiadi Becomes The Spotlight Of Overseas Media

JAKARTA - The Indonesian women's tennis player, Aldila Sutjiadi, at the French Open in the women's doubles sector, had to stop. Unfortunately, he was eliminated because of the ridiculous actions of his duet partner, Miyu Kato.

Aldila had to be willing to be disqualified after Kato accidentally made a ball girl cry. Sato's ball hit the back of the ball girl.

The drama comes as Aldila/Kato lead 3-1 in the second set after their opponents Marie Bouzkova and Sara Sorribes Tormo took the first set.

Standing in front of the net, Kato accidentally directed the ball to the ball girl who was standing across the field. The ball hit the back of the ball girl's head.

Kato immediately apologized to the crying and shaking girl. Initially Kato received a warning from the referee, but the supervisor then went into the field.

The pair who became the 16th seed in the tournament were finally disqualified from the third round after Bouzkova and Sorribes Tormo protested against the referee.

"I didn't see that, our team saw it. But I saw the girl still crying for 15 minutes later. The first warning occurred because the referee didn't see her crying and she was in pain," Bouzkova said, as broadcast by AFP.

"We told the supervisor that he had to look deeper because we saw the girl crying and the ball went straight at her. It wasn't like a bouncing ball or a slower ball," he continued.

Apart from AFP, this incident was also in the spotlight of British media, The Sun. In fact, a video was shown when Kato hit the ball which then hit the ball girl.

There was also a photo of the ball girl crying and holding her chest. She was then escorted off the pitch after the unfortunate incident.

Meanwhile, Kato, who was crying and sorry, was finally entertained by Sutjiadi.
