Vinicius Junior's Hard Code For British Giant Club

JAKARTA - Real Madrid player Vinicius Junior is likely not to last long in Spain. He has given indications that he will leave after returning to racist action while appearing in La Liga last weekend.

The 22-year-old winger had to point to the stands after getting verbal abuse from Valencia supporters while beating Real Madrid, 0-1, at Mestalla.

Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois said he had heard cheers using the words "monyet" at the start of the match.

After the match, the Brazilian said La Liga was the place for racist people. The reason is, this is not the first time Vinicius has received this unpleasant treatment.

"This is not the first time, not the second and not the third. Racism is normal in La Liga. This competition thinks it's normal, the federation (Spain) also thinks it's normal and opponents support it," Vinicius wrote on Instagram.

"But I am strong and I will fight racism until the end. Even though it is far from here," he continued.

This is a strong signal for English clubs. The reason is, Vinicius was reported to want to try out the English Premier League competition.

However, the player can only be owned by a club that can afford 100 million plus a salary of 360 thousand per week.

With that value, the candidate refers to Manchester City and Chelsea. Manchester United could also be a candidate if they already have new fund supporters.

Real Madrid actually still wants to keep Vinicius. However, the scathing comments from La Liga president, Javier Tebas, made the player's mood even hotter.

Instead of supporting Vinicius in fighting racism, Tebas chose to bring down the player.

"Before criticizing and insulting La Liga, you need to inform yourself correctly. Don't let yourself be manipulated and fully understand each other's competencies and the work we've done together," Tebas stressed.
