Fabio Quartararo's Hard Struggle Ends Sweetly In MotoGP America, Yamaha Full Smile

The impressive torehan was achieved by Fabio Quartararo in the United States MotoGP race, last weekend. The Yamaha racer successfully climbed the third podium after starting the race from seventh.

After having achieved bad results in the sprint race, Quartaro got up during the full race. He admitted that he fought hard to get back from the start of the difficult season.

"It's a very difficult race. I'm fighting hard, I have to fight hard on the first lap because the podium won't be possible if I lose my position in the early stages," Quartararo said.

"I did my best, and I am very happy that I came back after some very difficult races," he added.

The French racer said this success was not only because of his expertise. He said there was a role in the hard work of the team which continued to try to improve the technical side of the motorbike he was riding.

"The team worked very hard, and they tried to keep me calm. It wasn't an easy job. It feels good to be back in good form, and hopefully more wins will come," Quartararo said.

The results of this American GP also made Quartararo move up to 7th in the overall standings with 34 points. His team-mate Franco Morbidelli is in 10th position with 29 points.

Furthermore, the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP team moved up to fourth in the team standings with 63 points, and Yamaha in fifth position in the constructors' standings with 43 points.

"We got our first podium this season today! Fabio always gives 100 percent, but today he gives 10 percent more. He raced smart, aggressively early and cleverly towards the end. We are happy to see him get back on the podium," said Yamaha Team Director Massimo Meregalli.

"Franco Morbidelli also made a good move compared to yesterday. Although there are still areas that need to be repaired, he is able to restore the position on the first lap and complete the race with solid points," he added.
