Carl Frampton Warns Anthony Joshua If He Wants To Challenge Deontay Wilders: His Right Hand Can Kill People

JAKARTA - Former boxing world champion Carl Frampton warned Anthony Joshua the fight with Deontay Wilder would be "dangerous" for him.

Earlier this week, talkSPORT presenter Simon Jordan reported that Wilder vs Joshua's match was being planned in Saudi Arabia, later this year.

If the fight does happen, Joshua is asked to be vigilant. The reason is, according to Frampton, Wilder could pose a potential danger to the Olympic gold medalist.

Speaking on iFL TV about Wilder, Frampton said, "His right hand can kill people."

"I was there when he fought Luis Ortiz. He hit him on the forehead where usually (if) you hit someone on the forehead, your hands would break. But that actually brought Luis Ortiz down."

"I think he (Joshua) is still hesitant for someone like Wilder and it will be a very dangerous fight for him."

Currently Wilder has a record 43 wins, one draw and two defeats. Amazingly, the 42 wins ended with knockout (KO).

He has beaten everyone he entered the ring with the exception of Tyson Fury. The former WBC champion returned to the ring for the first time since his second defeat to Fury in October last year when he defeated Robert Helenius in the first round.

Meanwhile, Joshua bounced back from two defeats to Usyk on April 1 with a points win over Franklin.

In addition to fighting with Wilder, AJ is also linked to the fight against Fury and Dillian Whyte.
