Car Accident In Rome, Immobile Alami Retak Tulang Rusuk

JAKARTA - Lazio striker Ciro Immobile received medical treatment at the hospital after finding his ribs cracked and sore on his back following a car accident in Rome, the Serie A club said on Sunday.

Immobile, according to local Italian media reports, was involved in an accident after his car hit a tram in Rome.

"Following a car accident, the Ciro Immobile footballer was traumatized by spinal distortion and XI's right rib fracture," Lazio said in an official statement, quoted by Antara.

Immobile's condition is good, but remains under the supervision of Prof. Francesco Franceschi from IRCCS University Hospital Agostino Gemelia in Rome.

Sky Sport Italia reported that Immobile was traveling with his two daughters in the car that suffered the unfortunate fate. The 33-year-old footballer told police that the tram allegedly broke through a red light.

Seven other people, including tram passengers, were taken to hospital for medical examination.

Immobile helped Lazio to second place in the Serie A standings by contributing 10 goals to follow leaders Napoli.
