Al Nassr Reportedly Fired By Coach Rudi Garcia, Cristiano Ronaldo Called Owned By Andil

JAKARTA - Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr is said to have officially fired their coach Rudi Garcia. The dismissal was mentioned at the request of their superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

British media outlet The Sun reported that the decision made by Al Nassr followed a confrontation between the coach and the players in the dressing room.

The French tactician was expelled from his position with seven games remaining in the Saudi Arabian Pro League this season. Attacking unsatisfactory results is called the reason for the dismissal.

The dismissal was carried out after club officials held a secret meeting. The meeting included Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

In the conversation, Ronaldo reportedly expressed his dissatisfaction with Garcia's approach so that club officials chose to support their star's opinion.

Al Nassr decided to part with Garcia following a 0-0 draw with Al Feiha on Monday, April 10 yesterday. Ronaldo himself looks so frustrated with the results obtained by his team.

The former Manchester United star was even seen getting into an argument with the opposing players after the match.

Ronaldo joined the team from the Middle East last December with a contract worth 173 million per year or equivalent to IDR 3.1 trillion.

Al Nassr currently sits second in the standings with a collection of 53 points from 23 matches. They are still behind points from leaders Al-Ittihad.
