Morocco Humiliates Brazil, Regragati: Blessings Of Tarawih Prayers Before Competing

JAKARTA - The Morocco national team succeeded in overthrowing Brazil at the FIFA Matchday on Sunday, March 26. Morocco's coach, Walid Regguri, revealed that the victory was the blessing of Ramadan because they performed tarawih prayers before the match.

In the match at Stade Ib Ib Batouta, Tangier, Brazil fielded a number of star players such as Casemiro, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo to Eder Militao. With the squad, Brazil is clearly seeded to win.

Brazil was also championed in that match because of their current status as FIFA leaders. Meanwhile, Morocco, who became the opponent, is ranked 11.

But surprisingly, the Atlas Lions actually won 2-1 from the Samba team. Two Morocco goals were scored by Sofiane Boufal and Abdelhamid Sasbarah. Meanwhile, Brazil was only able to reply through Casemiro's goals.

Walid Regraguri clearly did not expect this result. He also admitted that he was touched.

"We beat Brazil, in the middle of Ramadan, after tarawih prayers, Crazy!" said Walid Regguri as quoted by Sportskeeda on Monday, March 27.

Regragati later stated that Morocco would not sink quickly after showing stunning performance at the 2022 World Cup. According to him, the Morocco national team will continue the positive trend in the future.

"We're still dreaming! We're continuing our momentum from the World Cup and it's fun," he said.

Morocco began to steal the attention of world football lovers during the 2022 World Cup stage. Present as a less-calculated team, Morocco was actually able to become a team of killer giant teams such as Belgium, Spain, and Portugal.
