TANGERANG - The Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS+) 2023 will officially be held from today, October 25 to 29.

One of the largest motorcycle exhibitions in the country features a variety of vehicles ranging from ICE to electricity.

Various brands also enliven the event by bringing the latest technology and innovations, including electric-based motorized vehicles. In addition, various automotive supporting industries will also enliven this exhibition event, showing the latest innovations and developments in the Indonesian automotive industry.

One of them is displayed by one of the local manufacturers, Alva Motor. In this event, the brand under the auspices of PT Ilectra Motor Group shows off its two mainstay motorbikes, such as Alva One and Alva Cervo.

The Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia (Menperin RI), Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, took the time to tour the exhibition area and visit the Alva booth and looked interested in the Alva One model.

Based on VOI monitoring at the location, Agus Gumiwang was given a little explanation regarding the model. Please note, this motorbike is also produced locally at the Alva Manufacturing Facility factory in Cikarang, West Java, by reaching TKDN so that it gets a discount of up to IDR 7 million.

Thus, this is in line with the program run by the government regarding the acceleration of the transition of electric vehicles in order to reduce the number of emissions in Indonesia.

"The application of electric vehicles is still very low. Of course this is our challenge so it needs to educate the public in order to reduce the amount of emissions," Agus told the media in his remarks in Tangerang, Wednesday, October 25.

The bongsor-sized electric motor has a drive hub electric drive by producing up to 5.3 dk of power and 46.5 Nm of torque. Alva One has a 45 Ah lithium battery capable of making this motor run 70 km in one battery and 140 km in two batteries.
