Chery Sales Indonesia Expands Services To Pekanbaru And Surrounding Areas

JAKARTA - PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) continues to develop its service network in Indonesia by opening new dealers in the Pekanbaru area and its surroundings.

In collaboration with ORiental SM Amin Pekanbaru, PT CSI inaugurated the grand opening dealers as well as being the first dealers in Riau and Sumatra Island. This step confirms the company's commitment to strengthening its services.

Shawn Xu, President of PT CSI, stated that the expansion of Chery's reach in Indonesia is the company's effort to introduce its models and services to the wider community.

"We believe automotive lovers in Pekanbaru and its surroundings will welcome Chery models as options that fill daily needs and a trendy lifestyle," Shawn said in an official statement, Sunday, August 6.

The location of Chery Pekanbaru is on Jl. SM Amin No. 70-73, Simpang Baru, Binawidya, Pekanbaru, Riau. This distributor occupies an area of 1,500 square meters with a building of 1,000 square meters. With the concept of 3S (Sales, Service, and Sparepart), Chery Pekanbaru is ready to provide integrated services to customers.

However, Chery does not stop there. The company will continue to expand its market by opening dealers in other areas around Sumatra, so that Chery customers can easily get optimal regular services.

Shawn also emphasized that the expansion of Chery's reach to various regions is a form of appreciation for the positive response of the Indonesian automotive market to a series of Chery products.

The Sumatra region is considered a potential market target for Chery in Indonesia. The reason is, this area has a society with a high level of mobility.

The Pekanbaru dealers will feature various models, such as Tiggo 7 Pro, Tiggo 8 Pro, and Omoda 5. Customers can also do a test drive to feel the lead Chery before deciding to buy.

The expansion of this dealers network is in line with Chery's target to have 60 dealers by the end of 2023. The plan is that PT CSI will also build 40 additional dealers by 2024, a total of 100 dealers to serve all parts of Indonesia.
