In The Future, Yamaha Prioritizes Polypropylene Materials On Motorcycles

JAKARTA - Several automotive manufacturers are slowly starting to take action to reduce the use of carbon. Not only on the engine component, but also on other raw materials.

One of the manufacturers who is serious about this goal is Yamaha. They recently introduced environmentally friendly raw materials into an assembly process called polypropylene.

Quoted from Yamaha's official website, Tuesday, April 11, this Japanese manufacturer believes that the use of the new material has a fairly high quality and is working well on some of the motorcycle models they launched for several ASEAN countries.

Yamaha also said that they would use the material in most of its motorcycle units. That means, some components on the Yamaha bike will have a fairly high recycling rate.

Now Yamaha also admits that the raw materials for the production of motorcycles have not fully used the Polipropylene. However, they plan to increase the use of these materials in the future.

This is not the only way the Yamaha section moves the use of carbon neutral materials. Yamaha will also use a material called "Green Aluminum" in their future models.

"Green Aluminum" refers to the improvement of materials made through renewable energy by removing less carbon dioxide in the unit manufacturing process.
