Palangka Raya Police Involved In Murder And Stealing Residents' Cars Fired And Threatened With Death Penalty

PALANGKA RAYA - A member of the Palangka Raya Police, Central Kalimantan, namely Brigadier AKS and a man with the initials H, were charged with Article 365 paragraph 4 or Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of death or life imprisonment. This police officer was involved in the murder and theft of a resident's car.

The criminal threat was conveyed by the Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Central Kalimantan Police, Kombes Nuredy Irwansyah Putra.

"This case stems from the discovery of a corpse in an oil palm plantation in Katingan Regency, on Friday (6/12), which we then carried out further investigation," said Nuredy as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, December 16.

The police examined 13 witnesses, so that from the results of the investigation, it was suspected that there was involvement of unscrupulous police officers in the case.

The police also raised the status of the investigation to investigate the case. Brigadier AKS was named a suspect.

"In this case, we carried out an investigation using scientific crime investigation methods, thus requiring accuracy in uncovering this case," he said.

At the same location, the Head of Propam Polda Central Kalimantan Kombes Nugroho revealed that his party had conducted a professional code of ethics trial against Brigadier AKS.
