In 2013, the dualism of leadership within the Chamber of Commerce and Industry also occurred. At that time, the general chairman of KADIN was held by Suryo Bambang Sulisto. In his leadership there was an internal conflict between fellow central administrators. The division peaked even more when Suryo Bambang Sulisto fired nine Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairperson and Advisory Council who at that time was held by Oesman Sapta Odang.

The dismissal then exacerbated the split until the KADIN rivals were formed. Even Oesman Sapta Odang held a National Leadership Meeting held on September 28, 2013 in Bali which decided Rizal Ramli as chairman of the new KADIN.

Suryo Bambang Sulisto and Rizal Ramli both did not want to acknowledge the leadership of each other in the body of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The dualism of the leadership of KADIN was repeated in 2015. At that time, KADIN was divided into two camps with different leaders, namely KADIN Kuningan led by Rosan Roeslani and KADIN Menteng led by Eddy Ganefo or Egan.

The mention of KADIN Kuningan and KADIN Menteng was based on their respective office locations. The KADIN for the Rosan Roeslani camp at that time was based at the Kadin Tower, Kuningan, while the KADIN for the Eddy Ganefo camp was based in Menteng, Central Jakarta.

The leadership dualism in the KADIN organization again occurred in 2024. Currently, KADIN has two leaders, namely Arsjad Rasjid and Anindya Bakrie. The appointment of Anindya Bakrie was carried out through the Extraordinary National Conference (Munaslub) which was held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta.

Regarding Anindya Bakrie being appointed as the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry through the Munaslub, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Board emphasized that the Munaslub held violated the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry's AD/ART which had been ratified through Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 18 of 2022.

In addition, the KADIN of the province and Extraordinary Members (ALB) also did not meet the applicable requirements to organize the Munaslub.

In fact, as many as 21 out of 35 provincial KADINs in Indonesia expressed their rejection of the implementation of the KADIN Munaslub. They also stated that the Munaslub violated the rules of the organization that had been mutually agreed upon.
