BENGKULU - Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel said, Public Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) 24,391.12 on the Kepahiang-Pagar Alam highway, Bengkulu returned to operation to serve the Kepahiang community after not being proven to have suffered a leak of the pendam tank. Pertamina has carried out various tests, and has made various preparations before the gas station resumes operations. This is intended to ensure that there are no obstacles when the Kepahiang gas station operates again. Previously, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel ensured that the public refueling station (SPBU) 24,39,112 Kepahiang, Kepahiang Regency, Bengkulu Province did not experience a leak of the pendam tank. "On October 8 to 19, 2023, Pertamina has carried out a Hydrostatic Test at the gas station, which is carried out by an independent team, namely the implementing contractor who is certified as the contact safety management system (CSMS)," said Nikho. Nikho said the tests carried out by Pertamina were witnessed by external witnesses, including residents of Kepahiang, intelligence from the Kepahiang Police, the Kepahiang DPRD, and other related witnesses. "Based on the hydrostatic test results from four gas stations, 24,39,112 were declared water pumps in good condition, no water level decrease was found, and the damping tank had no leaks," said Nikho. Gas Station 24,39,112 is originally expected to resume to its maximum by December 2023, but after the testing and preparation process, the end of the refueling station can operate early, namely in mid-November 2023. In addition, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagsel also continues to invite the public to wisely use fuel oil (BBM), which is in accordance with vehicle specifications so that subsidized fuel can be accepted by the people who are entitled.

Pertamina, according to him, provides various types of quality fuel such as the Pertamax Series and Dex Series as product alternatives. "If the public finds any indication of fraud, they can immediately report it to law enforcement officials, or through the 135 Pertamina Call Center (PCC)," he also said.
