Cianjur Police Hunt 6 Perpetrators Of Stabbing 2 Motorists

The Cianjur Resort Police (Polres), West Java, is hunting for six stabbing perpetrators who are members of a motorized gang against two motorcyclists on Jalan Raya Haurwangi, the six people are on the People's Wanted List (DPO).

Cianjur Police Chief, AKBP Aszhari Kurniawan, said his party would take measured decisive action if the six perpetrators who are currently still at large did not immediately surrender in the near future because officers had been deployed to arrest them.

"The six DPOs, RM (25), BH alias Ibe (21), Dn alias Gerot (20), MR (21), AF alias Zipo (20), and RAS (20) alias Gobel, were involved in the same action on Jalan Raya Haurwangi along with three perpetrators who have been arrested," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 14.

The six perpetrators allegedly fled from the city, so officers were deployed to hunt down and arrest the perpetrators who had been seen in a number of cities in West Java, as well as coordinating with the West Java Regional Police and a number of Polres so that the perpetrators were immediately caught.

"We immediately arrested the six perpetrators whose hiding points were already known, in order to account for their actions," said Aszhari.

The police arrested three members of a motorized gang in Cianjur, less than 24 hours after stabbing two motorbike riders on Jalan Raya Haurwangi, Saturday (12/11/2023).

Kasatreskrim Cianjur Police, Iptu Tono Listianto, said the three perpetrators who were arrested had the initials EG (34), UA (32), and YA (25) were residents of Haurwangi District, from the hands of the perpetrators were secured by a number of sharp weapons and airsoft guns.

"Learning 24 hours, the three perpetrators, who were members of a motorized gang, were arrested at the house of one of the perpetrators in Haurwangi District, the three admitted their actions," said Tono.

The three members of the same motorized gang and have twice stabbed a driver on Jalan Raya Bandung Cianjur on Friday night, causing two victims to critically and receive medical assistance at the Cianjur Sayang Hospital.

Not only the three perpetrators, he said, his party is still pursuing a number of other gang members who managed to escape and are included in the Cianjur Police Wanted List (DPO).
