Stock Still Exists, Pertamax Users In Kalimantan Move To Pertalite, It Turns Out That This Is The Cause

JAKARTA - The difference in the price of fuel oil (BBM) types of Pertamax and Pertalite, reaching approximately Rp. 4,000. This difference in numbers causes Pertamax users to move to Pertalite, causing long queues at gas stations.

"This causes the queue of Pertalite to be longer at gas stations," explained Public Relations of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Kalimantan Arya Yusa Dwicandra, ANTARA, Sunday, November 12.

The price of Pertamax has now reached Rp13,800 per liter while Pertalite is Rp10,000. Arya also emphasized that there are no distribution problems in all stages. All smoothly sent from the Integrated Fuel Terminal to the depot or to the Public Fuel Filling Station (SPBU) or gas station.

Kalimantan's daily fuel stock is even available for nine days if for some reason there is no addition or delivery.

"While we always add that stock every day," said Arya.

Once again Arya emphasized that there was no reduction in the distribution of Pertalite and diesel fuel. The amount of the distribution of pertalite year to date (YTD) until October 31, 2023 in Kalimantan reached 78 percent and biosolar reached 81 percent of the predetermined quota.

"This means that if you look at the remaining quotas, they are still safe until the end of the year," he explained.

Also for all stocks at the BBM Terminal, Patra Niaga has cumulative stock resilience for 9-12 days of gasoline (pertamax and pertalite) and gasoil (solar, pertadex, dexlite) fuel.

"There is no shortage and the stock is still safe at the fuel terminal," said Arya.

Pertamina also appealed to people to buy fuel according to their needs and allocation. For people who are economically capable who still use subsidized fuel such as pertalite, or diesel, it is hoped that they can switch to use non-subsidized fuel such as pertamax, pertamax turbo, pertadex or dexlite.

"We hope that people can buy fuel wisely, especially subsidized fuel, buy fuel according to the needs and specifications of the vehicle," concluded Arya.
