Polda Kaltara Holds Coordination Meeting On Preparedness For Security For The 2024 Election

TANJUNG SELOR - North Kalimantan Police (Kaltara) held a coordination meeting ahead of the 2024 election.

Wakapolda Kaltara Brigadier General Kasmudi said that currently his party is preparing for the implementation of the Great Operation Brata Kayan 2023-2024 for the 2024 Election.

"As is well known, in 2024 Indonesia will hold simultaneous elections, where we are currently in the election stage and will soon enter the core stage, including the registration and determination of presidential candidates, vice presidents, legislative candidates, and candidates for DPD members," said the Deputy Chief of Police, Tuesday, October 10.

Regarding the 2024 simultaneous elections, President Joko Widodo emphasized the importance of this political moment as the biggest democratic party held simultaneously at the same ahun.

The President emphasized that the election for great jobs that will greatly affect the future of the Indonesian nation and state, the 2024 election is considered a point of intersection in Indonesia's history in realizing the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045.

"The National Police as security guards and law enforcers need the support of all parties to create a sense of security, overcome potential vulnerabilities, and ensure quality elections," he said.

The steps that need to be taken, including establishing close cooperation with all government agencies and election organizers, are very important.

"To create a conducive security and social security situation during the election and create honest and fair elections, the National Police carried out Central Police Operations with the code 'State Brata' will be carried out throughout Indonesia," he said.

With the aim of securing all activities related to holding elections ranging from political parties, individual candidates, to community activities.

The police operation will be carried out for 222 days starting October 19, 2023.
