Joe Biden Signs Temporary Bill On Funding, US Government Ulung Bangkrut

The US government did not close after President Joe Biden signed a temporary funding bill discussed in a marathon at the Capitol Building, Washington DC (Wikimedia Commons).

JAKARTA US President Joe Biden has finally signed a short-term bill on funding for the US Government. The bill prevents the US from bankruptcy, which has consequences that the government must close and the salaries of civil servants are not paid.

The Senate passed the funding bill on Saturday night (30/9/2023) to prevent the government's closure, which would spark a domino effect. The government went bankrupt and closed meaning disaster for the people and the economy of Adi Daya Country.

The Senate decision fell 3 hours before the deadline for closing the United States federal government, October 1 at 00.01 local time. Biden immediately signed it, so it is legal to become a law.

This law allows the US Government to remain open for the next 45 days. This situation provides a more flexible opportunity for the DPR and the Senate to complete the making of funding laws.

The short-term bill on funding was drafted by the chairman of the US House of Representatives from the California Republic of Indonesia, Kevin McCarthy. The funding is focused on disasters, but does not include aid for the Ukraine war.

During the Ukraine-Russia War that spanned nearly two years, America has spent a budget of 43 billion US dollars, or more than Rp666 trillion to support Kyiv in the face of Moscow's onslaught.

In the voting held on Saturday, the vote in the US House of Representatives was divided into 335 supports and 91 rejections. That means the Temporary Shopping Bill can be passed. Follow-up to the ratification of this provisional law will be carried out on Monday 2 October.
