Mitsubishi Xpander Owned By Presenter Caren Delano Taken Away By Private Driver

JAKARTA - A presenter named Caren Delano became a victim of car embezzlement by his own driver with the initials FE in an apartment residence, Setia Budi District, South Jakarta on Wednesday, September 27.

The victim suffered a loss of around Rp. 300 million due to his black Mitsubishi Xpander car being taken away by the perpetrator. He also reported the case of embezzlement that happened to him to the Setiabudi Metro Police Headquarters on Thursday, September 28.

Setiabudi Metro Police Chief Kompol Arif Purnama said his party was still investigating and pursuing the reported FE. From the information of the reporter, he recognized the perpetrator who was none other than his own personal driver.

The embezzlement incident occurred when the victim on Wednesday morning, September 28, asked to be escorted to the Trans TV studio for filming. After finishing filming, the victim was still escorted by the FE perpetrator to the SCBD area for fitness activities.

After that, the victim returned to the apartment. Meanwhile, FE gave a photo to the victim's assistant regarding the position of the car in the parking lot.

After that FE said goodbye to wash the car but the victim's assistant forbade it because the victim would be filming at 16.30 WIB on a private TV station.

"After a while later, the victim's driver reported that he had permission to return to his boarding house because (the reason) the door to his room was broken down by the person fighting," Kompol Arif told reporters, Thursday, September 28.

However, because the victim at 16.30 WIB was filming at a national private Tv station, the victim tried to contact the FE perpetrator again. The victim contacted FE via WhatsApp message. However, the victim did not get an answer from the perpetrator.

Because there was no good faith from the perpetrator, the victim was forced to take legal action by making a police report at the Setiabudi Metro Police with the number: LP/B/650/IX/2023/SPKT/Sek. Budi/Res. South Jakarta/PMJ.

"Until now there has been no answer every time in WA by the victim. For this walk, the reporter suffered a loss of Rp. 300 million," he said.
