KSP Increases Supervision Of Handling Agrarian Complaints Cases Between Ministries

JAKARTA - Given the high number of complaints about agrarian problems from the public submitted to Ministries/Institutions through the Presidential Staff Office to the President directly, Deputy II of the Presidential Chief of Staff, Abetnego Tarigan emphasized that synchronizing data in agrarian problems is important to be given quick treatment.

"Acceleration of handling that has been carried out by each Ministry/Institution needs to be rushed as well as other potential handling such as the one-data system so that in the future public complaints across Ministries get the right and integrated handling", Abetnego said at the Post-Coordination Meeting for Synchronization of Agrarian Problem Data, Friday (15/9).

In accordance with the President's direction, the Director General of Agrarian Arrangement, Agung Darmawan stated that the Ministry of ATR/BPN intensively oversees the handling and resolution of 70 cases of priority Agrarian Reform (LPRA) locations. The total asset legalization achievement reached 9,312,787.2 ha and the total land levy of 1,718,409.99 Ha. We will continue to synchronize this agrarian complaint with the handling data that is currently underway and continue to monitor the public complaint platform," he said.

In terms of data mapping, the Director General of Forestry and Environmental Planning, Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, said that there were 244 complaints related to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry which were received and submitted by KSP. His party has reviewed stage 1 of 66 verified cases.

"From this mapping, it takes strengthening of the limits to be issued, and it is necessary to synchronize data on the progress of TORA with the Ministry of ATR, the rest is still in the process of being resolved," explained Hanif.

In addition to the ministry, efforts to synchronize data on agrarian problems also involve the Ministry of SOEs, POLRI and the Attorney General's Office. In particular, the Ministry of SOEs will synchronize the two clusters with the most problems/complaints, namely the Logistics Cluster and Plantation and Forestry Clusters. In addition, several steps are also being processed to transfer land rights to HPL in the context of resolving conflicts handled by the Deputy Minister of SOEs.

Meanwhile, the National Police emphasized that in an effort to deal with agrarian problems, the land anti mafia task force team has analyzed, especially in areas with the most complaints. The Attorney General's Office also emphasized the importance of prudence in issuing certificates as a fundamental mitigation measure in several findings of agrarian problems.

For information, until May 2023, KSP has received a total of 1,385 cases / complaints of agrarian problems, with details of 716 complaints related to the Ministry of ATR / BPN, 359 complaints related to the Ministry of SOEs and 244 complaints related to the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.

In this coordination meeting, the Director General of Agrarian Arrangement (Dirjen PA) and the Director General of Forestry and Environmental Planning (Dirjen PKTL), the Ministry of SOEs, as well as the National Police and the Attorney General's Office.
