West Pasaman Disbursed Assistance For 246 Heavy Damaged Houses Due To Earthquakes

SIMPANG FOUR - The West Pasaman Regency Government, West Sumatra, has disbursed assistance for repairing 246 houses heavily damaged by the earthquake in the area. Meanwhile, 148 housing units are in the disbursement process.

"The progress is very good and hopefully all aid can be disbursed quickly according to existing regulations," said West Pasaman Regent Hamsuardi as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 13.

His party continues to accelerate verification and validation regarding the houses of residents affected by the earthquake.

According to him, from 1,111 house data, 394 units were heavily damaged, including entering the disbursement process.

Of the 394 units, as many as 246 units have been disbursed 100 percent. Meanwhile, the disbursement of under 100 percent amounted to 148 units with a statement that 138 units had been severely damaged and were ready to carry out the disbursement process, 10 units changed their status due to assistance from other sources of funds, and 33 housing units received double assistance.

"A total of 138 units are just waiting for the budget plan for the facilitator team, we will give a grace period of 10 days to be paid," he said.

Based on the verification results, 10 housing units changed their status from weight to moderate, later they will invite the public to be submitted.

"Meanwhile, 33 units receive double assistance, which we will collect data such as names, sources of assistance, and must meet the requested requirements," he explained.

Furthermore, 717 housing units that have been verified by the technical team in the field, with details of 504 housing units, can start the construction process, 209 units cannot be carried out in the construction process due to a status down assessment.

Meanwhile, four units have not been verified by the field technical team. A total of seven housing units that built independently reimbursement have completed the filing and are in the process of being disbursed.

"Of these 504 that can start construction, we will give a grace period of about two months," he said.

He explained 48 of them received assistance from foundations, companies or other organizations. Four units that have not been verified with details of three in Kinali District and one in Pasaman District.

"The technical team continues to accelerate the acceleration so that people can receive assistance," he said.
