SEMARANG - Police arrested four gangsters who stabbed a resident on Jalan Pengapon, Semarang City, Central Java, on September 5.

"Four have been arrested, the other two are still being chased," said Semarang Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKBP Donny Lumbantoruan as quoted by Antara, Friday, September 8.

The four arrested perpetrators each had the initials KF (19), MDR (17) EA (19) and AP.

The persecution that injured R.Vianto, a resident of Sedompyong Village, Kemijen Village, East Semarang, began with an inter-gangster brawl some time earlier.

Gangsters from the group of suspects, he said, had just fought with other groups in Citra Animal Park, Semarang City.

The group of perpetrators who managed to win in the brawl then tried to catch up to the group that lost.

While crossing Jalan Pengapon, the perpetrators admitted that they were thrown a bottle by an unknown person who was on the side of the road.

"The perpetrator then chased a number of people who were in a number of stalls," he said.

The victim who tried to escape was caught and abused using a sharp weapon by the perpetrator.

Currently, the police are still pursuing two other perpetrators who are still running away.

For their actions, the suspects were charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code concerning persecution.

Previously, a resident named R.Vianto was the victim of a stabbing carried out by a group of sharp gunmen on Jalan Pengapon, Semarang City, Central Java, in the early hours of Tuesday (5/9).
