Kejari Mukomuko Examines Witnesses Alleged Corruption In The Religious Court Building

MUKOMUKO - Mukomuko District Attorney's Office, Bengkulu, immediately examined two witnesses related to the alleged corruption case in the construction of the Mukomuko Religious Court building.

"Next week we will examine two witnesses related to this case, after the warrant for the start of the investigation which was signed by the Head of the Mukomuko District Attorney's Office, Rudi Iskandar," said Head of Special Investigation Unit of the Mukomuko District Attorney, Agung Malik Rahman Hakim, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 6.

The Mukomuko District Prosecutor's Office previously received a report on the alleged corruption in the construction of the Religious Court building which terminated the work contract of the Mukomuko Government Policy and Justice Guard Institute (LP KPK).

The Prosecutor's Office followed up on the report by checking the building of the Religious Court which was sourced from the 2023 State Budget with a ceiling of Rp. 18 billion.

The two witnesses who will be questioned are those related to the construction of the Mukomuko District Religious Court.

The Prosecutor's Office checked the field regarding the condition of the building and matched the document data that had been submitted by the KPK LP.

"We have checked directly in the field, including interviewing related parties in the field related to the construction of the Mukomuko Religious Court building," he said.

Chairman of the Mukomuko District Government Policy and Justice Guard Institute Toha believes Kejari Mukomuko is very capable of investigating allegations of corruption in the building of the Religious Court.

"We believe and believe that Kajari Mukomuko and his staff are able to uncover this case clearly," he said.
