West Sumatra Police Prepare 1,073 Personnel For Vice President Ma'ruf Amin's Visit

West Sumatra Police (West Sumatra) alerted 1,073 personnel to secure a working visit from Vice President Ma Ruf Amin and his wife in the area.

"The 1,073 personnel are a combination of the Padang Police and Padang Pariaman Police," said Head of Public Relations of the West Sumatra Police, Kombes Dwi Sulistyawan in Padang, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, September 6.

The Vice President is scheduled to open the Minangkabau Halal Festival 2023 which is centered in Padang on September 8-10, 2023.

The security of the Vice President's visit will cover various aspects ranging from securing lanes to activities at the location.

"Security includes various aspects ranging from the paths to which the security is open and closed during the event," he explained.

Dwi ensured that the West Sumatra Regional Police would provide full support in terms of security so that the working visit of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia and his wife went smoothly and successfully.

The police will also coordinate with the TNI and other relevant agencies in carrying out security and escort.

West Sumatra Regional Police personnel involved in security have also participated in the VVIP Security Force title ceremony for a working visit from the Vice President at the Imam Bonjol Padang field, on Wednesday morning.

The apple was led directly by the Pangdam II Bukit Barisan Major General TNI Mochammad Hasan accompanied by the West Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Suharyono, and was also attended by the Governor of West Sumatra Mahyeldi.

Apple participants consisted of various joint forces ranging from TNI AD, AL, AU, Polri, Satpol PP, and related agencies.
