Indonesian Citizens Disappear In Los Angeles, Students Work While Being Uber Eatts Drivers

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Consulate General in Los Angeles, United States received a report about the disappearance of an Indonesian citizen (WNI) named Yudi Saputra in the city.

Director of Protection for Indonesian Citizens and Indonesian Legal Entities (BHI) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Judha Nugrah said the Indonesian citizen was a student of California International University.

Yudi has been missing since August 31, 2023 while working as an Uber Eats driver.

"The person concerned lives in LA with his wife and child," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, September 5.

Judha said Yudi's family had made a report to the Los Angeles Police (LAPD).

KJRI LA telah menghubungi pihak keluarga dan FBI untuk membantu upaya pencarian di lapangan, katanya.

"Until now there has been no latest information regarding the case that befell the Indonesian citizen," said Judha.
