Cak Imin Hugged By Prabowo When Late Coming To PAN's Anniversary, Zulhas: It Means Don't Let Go Again

JAKARTA - An interesting moment was arrested during the 25th Anniversary of the National Mandate Party (PAN) today, namely when the General Chairperson (Ketum) of PKB Muhaimin Iskandar Basar Cak Imin only arrived when the event had started.

Since the event was opened, a number of political party leaders in the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition (KKIR), namely Gerindra Party Chairman Prabowo Subianto, Golkar Party Chairman Airlangga Hartarto, UN Chairman Yusril Ihza Mahendra. Together with PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, the three of them sat in the front row.

About thirty minutes passed, Cak Imin had just arrived at the location. Seeing his arrival, Prabowo immediately embraced and hugged Cak Imin before occupying a seat in the ranks of the party that supports Prabowo as a presidential candidate. This gathering was also followed by Zulhas, Airlangga, and Yusril.

Furthermore, the Chairman of PAN Zulhas, in his speech greeted the party leaders. Zulhas also mentioned Prabowo's intimate momentum with Cak Imin.

Without explaining what he meant, Zulhas said Prabowo's attitude was an effort to keep Cak Imin from being separated.

"Earlier I saw Pak Prabowo, I was also Mr. Erlangga and I hugged Cak Imin very closely, meaning that it should not be released again. It's not allowed. It's not allowed," said Zulhas at the Sultan Hotel, Central Jakarta, Monday, August 28.

"The three of us, sir, are ngal. The one who manages Pak Prabowo, Pak Airlangga, I am. Fat. Megang Cak Imin, there is Pak Yusril, really close, I will not be able to let go again. God willing," he continued.

When looking at the political context in their coalition, Zulhas' statement has the intention to keep Cak Imin and his party from leaving the coalition that carries Prabowo as a presidential candidate.

Several times, Cak Imin joked that PKB would remain in the KKIR if the coalition chose him as Prabowo's vice presidential candidate. Later, Cak Imin also held a meeting with Prabowo's rival, Ganjar Pranowo, who was promoted by PDIP as his presidential candidate.

The party's DPP administrators who are members of the KKIR are also present at the commemoration of the establishment of PAN. Not only that, a number of government ministers of President Joko Widodo were also present, namely SOE Minister Erick Thohir, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy, and Menpora Dito Aritedjo.

Erick and Muhadjir sit on a separate side with a row of party general chairmen. Both were proposed by PAN to become candidates for vice president to accompany Prabowo Subianto.
