JAKARTA Tragically, a woman was found dead in her locked house. The condition of the victim named Nurhidayah (37) was found in a pathetic condition on Monday, August 14, at 13.15 WIB. When identified by police officers, Nurhidayah's body was full of wounds due to a blunt object blow.

Allegedly, the perpetrator was the victim's lover who at that time visited the victim's house in Dologan Hamlet, Wadas Village, Kajoran District, Magelang Regency, Central Java.

Magelang Deputy Chief of Police, AKBP Roman Smadhana Elhaj explained that residents around the crime scene (TKP) were suspicious of the victim who had not been seen since Saturday, August 12. Residents saw the door of the victim's house locked.

Until finally the residents decided to break down the door of the victim's house. And as a result, residents were surprised to see the victim lying on the floor of the living room full of wounds. The findings were finally reported to the local police.

"Residents then broke down the door of the victim's house and found him lying in the living room, dead. This information was then conveyed to the village apparatus and reported to the Kajoran Police, Magelang Police. The Inafis Team of the Magelang Police Satreskrim together with the Kajoran Health Center conducted a crime scene investigation and the victim's examination, then taken to Muntilan Hospital, Magelang Regency for an autopsy," said AKBP Roman in a written statement received by the editor, Wednesday, August 16.

Based on the results of the examination, the victim Nurhidayah suffered injuries due to blunt objects on several parts of her body, such as forehead, cheeks, right and left neck, lips, right shoulder, and bruises on her eyelids, neck, and chest. Broken bones were also found in the front skull.

According to the medical team who examined, the cause of death of the victim was due to injuries. The victim was weak due to blunt force violence on the victim's head.

"For more details, we are waiting for the autopsy results," said Roman.

Shortly after the victim was found, the police were hunting for a man with the initials AK (40), whose address is Bangsri Village, Kajoran District, Magelang Regency. AK is known to be the man who last met the victim at his house.

Still on the same day after the discovery of Nurhidayah, the Magelang Police Satreskrim managed to apprehend AK at the rest area of PO Handoyo, Ngawi Regency, East Java, Monday 14, at around 23.00 WIB, 10 hours after the victim's body was found.

The perpetrator AK is known as the lover of Nurhidayah, he abused the victim because he was emotional about the victim's actions that had slapped him.

Roman again explained that AK was in action when the victim turned on the TV. He hit his girlfriend's head using a green LPG gas cylinder. The heavy tube landed on the victim's head exactly on the back.

After carrying out the action, continued Roman, the perpetrator fled with the victim's motorbike, a black Honda Scoopy with the police number AA-5212-DB, along with his STNK and BPKB, as well as the victim's cellphone.

While fleeing, the perpetrator managed to sell the motorbike in the Muntilan area at a price of Rp. 13 million.

The perpetrators were threatened with Articles 338 and/or 365 of the Criminal Code related to violent murder and theft that resulted in death, with a maximum imprisonment of 15 years.
