GPK Claims Solid Support Ganjar Pranowo Presidential Candidate 2024

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Central Board of the Youth Kaaba Movement (PP GPK) Imam Fauzan emphasized that his organization solidly supports Ganjar Pranowo as a candidate for president (candidate) in the 2024 election.

"The name of Tommy is not in the Decree of the Central GPK Management Management. This is Tommy's personal support for one of the presidential candidates, not the GPK's institutional support," he said in a written statement reported by ANTARA, Monday, August 14.

This was conveyed in response to the statement of Tommy Adrian Firman's camp claiming to be the General Chair of the GPK. He emphasized that institutionally the GPK as the official PPP organization was upright with the decision of the general chairman who supported Ganjar Pranowo, the presidential reading was carried by the PDI-P and PPP.

"GPK as an autonomous body, submits and obeys the decision of the PPP DPP, namely supporting Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate," he said.

He said that in the last five months, GPK in all provinces had moved until villages campaigned for Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate.

He is optimistic that the presence of the GPK management will contribute to Ganjar Pranowo's victory in the 2024 presidential election.

"PP GPK, which has the legality of the Kemenkumham Decree and is recognized by the party, supports Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate according to the decision of the PPP Rapimnas in Jogja," he said.
