BMKG Records 5.2 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Southeast Buol-Sulteng

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 rocked the southeastern region of Buol, Central Sulawesi (Central Sulawesi) at 13.14 WIB, Thursday, August 10. The earthquake was centered on land, precisely at coordinates 0.64 north latitude and 121.46 east longitude or 38 km southeast of Buol with a depth of 48 km. "BMKG urges the public to be careful of possible aftershocks," wrote BMKG in Jakarta.
