Examined By Bareskrim, Razman Nasution Suspect Of Defamation Of Hotman Paris Hopes Cases Not Entering Court

Investigators from the Directorate of Cyber Crime (Dittipidsiber) of the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit examined Razman Arif Nasution as a suspect in the alleged criminal act of defamation reported by Hotman Paris Hutapea.

The examination took place from 12.00 WIB to 18.00 WIB, Tuesday, August 8. Razman was present at the examination accompanied by his legal team.

Director of Cyber Crime (Dittipidisber) Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Pol. Adi Vivid Agustiadi Bachtiar confirmed that his party today examined Razman's lawyer as a suspect.

According to him, this examination was the second summons as a suspect, because at the first summons Razman was unable to attend for certain reasons.

"Yes (checked), because at the first summons he did not not come but gave a letter to postpone. Well, Alhamdulillah, the person concerned came and was investigated today," said Vivid as quoted by ANTARA.

Razman, after the examination, admitted that during the good examination of the Bareskrim Polri investigators.

"Today I found a new situation, a smooth way of asking questions, a way to provide free answers, so that my team and I were able to digest all questions, and answer chaotic and measurable," said Razman.

He is also optimistic that the case that ensnared him can be completed as expected, not reached the court.

"Because that's my belief and the team, I believe DPN Peradi is united, I believe they will be able to do this case not until the judiciary," said Razman.

Rasman was charged with Article 45 paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 27 paragraph (3) of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions and/or Article 310 of the Criminal Code, Article 311 of the Criminal Code.

The determination of the suspect Rasman was based on the report of Hotman Paris Hutapea on May 10, 2022. Rasman was reported with Iqlima Kim for the alleged defamation case.

The report is related to allegations filed by Rasman against the famous lawyer regarding allegations of sexual harassment.
