SURABAYA - The Policy of the Government Goods and Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP) has frozen 16 thousand imported products from the electronic catalog (e-catalog) for the procurement of government goods and services received appreciation from the chairman of the DPD RI, AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti.

LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti said that he had often asked the Head of Dearah to facilitate local entrepreneurs in the regions to be able to register their products into e-catalog. So that these products are absorbed in local government spending.

This is what I call the importance of combining budget politics and policy politics. So that APBD funds in an area, are really rotating and absorbed in the area itself. Not outflowing to other regions. Especially abroad," said LaNyalla on the sidelines of a recess in East Java.

Because APBD funds, he continued, mainly those originating from central government transfer funds, should actually be economic levers in the regions. Instead of flying out of the area to shop for local governments.

LaNyalla revealed that there are still many local producers, especially small-scale entrepreneurs in the regions, who have not been able to penetrate the e-catalog. Apart from the many requirements that must be met, it has not been accompanied.

"I ask for this to be a serious concern for regional heads. This includes the attention of KADIN in the regions. To provide assistance, so that more domestic products are included in the e-catalog.
