Golkar Regarding The Bunga Buket From Airlangga Hartarto For Puan Maharani: It Has Its Own Meaning

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Golkar Party Airlangga Hartarto and Chairman of the PDI-P DPP Puan Maharani held a meeting on Thursday, July 27. After the meeting, Airlangga then gave a bouquet of flowers to Puan which he called "political flowers".

"Today is a special flower, red and yellow and this is a political flower," said Airlangga, at that time.

Deputy General Treasurer of the Golkar Party DPP Dyah Roro Esti explained that the gift of a red and yellow flower bouquet from Airlangga to Puan had its own meaning which signaled good intentions.

Apart from being a political symbol, according to him, the gift of the flower bouquet shows the attitude of the Golkar Party which respects the figure of a female leader in Indonesia.

"The flowers given to female leaders, such as Mrs. Puan, have their own meaning. That, such as beautiful and soft flowers, all of this begins with good intentions full of concern, high enthusiasm, and friendship," Roro said, as quoted from Antara, Saturday, July 29.

Roro then believed that the meeting of the two would bring positive things for Golkar and PDIP to determine the direction of national politics. He said this meeting had created political stability and would bring positive things in the future for both parties.

"By prioritizing sustainable national development," said Roro.

The member of Commission VII DPR RI also hopes that the meeting of Airlangga and Puan can provide a good multiplier effect.

Previously reported, PDI-P DPP Chair Puan Maharani visited the residence of Golkar Party Chair Airlangga Hartarto on Jalan Tirtayasa Raya No 32, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Thursday.

During the meeting, Airlangga Hartarto revealed that there had been an agreement between Golkar and the PDI-P to form a technical team ahead of the 2024 General Election.

"We agree that technical matters need to be built and the Golkar Party has formed a technical team," said Airlangga in Jakarta, Thursday.
