Heru Budi Withdraws KJP 2 Students Involved In Brawl

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono revoked the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus to two students involved in the brawl. However, Heru did not reveal the identity of the student who no longer received the KJP.

"Yesterday there were 2 fights, the KJP was revoked. Don't fight, study properly, we urge you. If in Jakarta school is free, just go to school," said Heru at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Thursday, July 27.

Heru asked all school principals and teachers to always remind students to avoid brawls. Parental supervision to community leaders in the home environment, according to Heru, is also needed.

To the students, Heru also reminded that brawl activities could have a bad impact, ranging from criminal acts, disturbances to the surrounding community, to threats to their future.

"If there is a brawl, what will happen to the future? That's right. What is his future? Return to himself, it's a pity. Jakarta, yes, his children must be smarter, he explained," explained Heru.

Separately, the Chairman of Commission E of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Iman Satria, saw that Heru Budi could not only impose sanctions on the revocation of the KJP on students involved in the brawl.

Iman emphasized that the DKI Provincial Government needs to strengthen the supervisory and coaching functions of students so as not to be involved in clashes and criminal acts by schools to the Satpol PP ranks who oversee in public spaces.

"What is the right anticipation to eliminate brawls? Yes, the supervisory function is. Supervision of teachers at school and supervision of parents at home," said Iman.

On the other hand, Iman asked the DKI Provincial Government to increase the facilities for open space activities so that teenagers can use them to, play, exercise, or develop their potential talents.

"Provided with facilities for children to play. Expanded gor fields for children to do activities so that there are no more brawls. This is because they have no place to sweat," he explained.
