A Total Of 50 Illegal Buildings On The Edge Of The Railroad In The Senen Area Were Dismantled By Joint Officers

JAKARTA - Dozens of illegal buildings located on the banks of the KM 7 + 000 to KM 7 + 500 railroad tracks between Pasar Senen Station until the Sentiong area were brought under control by PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta.

Control is carried out to enforce article 181 paragraph (1) which states that everyone is prohibited from being in the good space of the railway line, dragging, moving, placing, or moving goods on the rail or crossing the railroad line, or using railroad lines for other purposes, other than for rail transportation.

KAI Daop 1 Jakarta also emphasized that the ban on rail activities other than for the purposes of train transportation has been emphasized in Law Number 23 of 2007 concerning Railways.

"Daop 1 Jakarta controls and cleans train lines from illegal buildings and garbage for residents who do not have the right to be on the railway line," said KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Public Relations Manager Daily, Feni Novida, Friday, July 21.

This illegal and cross-clean building control activity will be carried out in a sustainable manner. Around 50 illegal buildings along the route are disciplined to keep the train track and train trips safe.

In this control, 130 personnel consisting of a combination of the Jakarta Daop 1 work unit were deployed to curb illegal buildings and clean up trash along the railway line between Pasar Senen to Sentiong.

"Residents are advised not to carry out any activities on the railway line, either building illegal buildings or making illegal crossings because they can interfere with train travel and endanger personal safety," he said.
