JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo is scheduled to inaugurate Komjen Agus Andrianto as the new Deputy Chief of Police on Monday (3/7) at PTIK Polri.

Assistant Chief of the National Police for Human Resources (As HR) Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo said the National Police Chief also directly led the handover ceremony for the position of Deputy Chief of Police from Komjen Pol. Gatot Eddy Pramobo to Agus Andrianto.

"Yes, the National Police Chief directly leads the implementation of the sertijab ceremony. At the same time there will be traditional activities to welcome him, it will be held at PTIK," said Dedi as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, July 1.

According to Dedi, the inauguration ceremony was held in parallel with the handover of positions considering that the National Police had a solid agenda in July which coincided with the moment of Bhayangkara's 77th Anniversary.

"Yes, right away, this year's Police activities are quite congested," he said.

Monday's certificate ceremony will be held only for the Deputy Chief of Police, to replace Agus Andrianto as Kabareskrim, namely Komjen Pol. Wahyu Widada and his replacement Kabaintelkam will be sworn in the second week of July.

"Especially for the Deputy Chief of Police, for PJU and the regional police chief, God willing, after the 10th, it will be planned like that," said Dedi.

As previously reported, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo appointed Komjen Agus Andrianto as Deputy Chief of Police replacing Komjen Gatot Eddy Pramono who was entering retirement.

The appointment of Komjen Agus Andrianto, who previously served as Head of the National Police's Criminal and Investigation Agency (Kabareskrim) was stated in the Chief of Police's Telegram letter number: ST/1339/VI/KEP./2023 dated June 24, 2023.
