Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Solok Police, Iptu Heddy Permana Putra, said the perpetrator who was arrested had the initials AH (22), a resident of Jorong Lakuak, Nagari Tanjung Binkung.
He explained that the arrest was made after receiving information from the public regarding the alleged criminal act of abuse of transportation or trading fuel oil subsidized by the government (Bio Solar).
When checking the accuracy of the information, his party found a pickup truck with the number plate BA 1721 BH with a 35 liter Bio Solar load.
"And the modified car tank containing fuel oil subsidized by the government (Bio solar) occurred in Jorong Lakuak Nagari Tanjung Binkung, Kubung District, Solok Regency," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, June 30.
The police also found seven jerry cans of oil filled with fuel subsidized by the government (bio solar) and six jerry cans empty.
Currently, the offender is taken to the Solok Police along with evidence found for committing a criminal act of abuse of transportation and trading of fuel oil subsidized by the Government (Bio Solar).
"For this incident, the perpetrator and the evidence were secured and taken to the Solok Police Station for processing according to applicable law," he said.
The suspect is suspected of violating Article 55 of Law Number 22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Natural Gas in conjunction with Article 55 of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 2 of 2022 concerning Job Creation.
