The victims of the pickpocket action in the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK) or Pekan Raya Jakarta (PRJ) area, JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, turned out to be three people. Meanwhile, there was only one victim who made a report at the Central Jakarta Metro Police named Dwi Nurul Umayah.

According to the police, victims of pickpockets in the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK) or Pekan Raya Jakarta (PRJ) area are known to be Kholidah, Nindy and Dwi. The three victims were visitors to the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK).

"There are three victims. The complainant is one of the three victims. Meanwhile, the eyewitnesses of the incident are 2 people and we have asked for information," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Hady Siagian when confirmed by VOI Sunday, June 25.

Evidence of a number of cellphones confiscated from the suspect in the pickpocket mode theft, namely, 1 unit of Oppo Reno 3, 1 cellphone brand Infinity Note 7 pro, 1 unit of Samsung Galaxy A51, 1 Redmi 9C and 1 Xiaomi brand cellphone.

"The mode used by pickpockets is to control the victim's belongings. The two suspects named Edi Ismanto and Caswati are charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code," he said.

The Central Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still investigating two perpetrators of pickpocketing cellphones who were caught red-handed while in action in the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK) area or Jakarta Raya Week (PRJ), JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

Unfortunately, the two perpetrators turned out to be a married couple.

"That's right, husband and wife. The two perpetrators are Edi Ismanto and Cawati. Both have been named suspects," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Hady Siagian, Sunday, June 25.
