JAKARTA - Three Palestinians were killed, including a child, as a result of gunfire by Israeli soldiers who raided Jenin City, West Bank on Monday, in order to detain the two men wanted according to each party.

"During these activities, there was a massive exchange of fire between troops and gunmen in the area. A large number of explosives were thrown at the troops. Troops responded with gunfire," the statement said, adding that several suspects were hit by gunfire, as quoted by The Times of Israel.
The IDF said a number of its troops were injured in explosions and gunfire in the attack. An Apache-type helicopter belonging to the IDF was deployed to carry out airstrikes and launch missiles, so that injured soldiers could be evacuated from the combat zone.
