KPK Auctions State Rampasan Goods Starting From Watches, Wallets And Golf Stiks

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) invites the public to participate in the auction of a number of state booty from the gratification report which will be held on June 21, 2023, at 10.15 WIB. "The auction is carried out through a closed bidding e-auction of the Jakarta III State Property and Auction Service Office (KPKNL)," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri when confirmed in Jakarta, Antara, Friday, June 16. The auction was carried out in accordance with Article 18 paragraph (2) of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes without the presence of auction participants with the type of auction bid via the internet (closed bidding) with the intermediary of the KPKNL. "So, the public is obliged to register the account first through auction.go.id and offer before the auction process date," he added. He said there were 45 looted state items, such as branded wallets, golf clubs, batik cloth, watches, power banks, jackets, bags, vouchers, and shoes that would be traded to the party with the highest offer. "The price range starts from IDR 57,000 to IDR 9,381,000," said Ali. With the involvement of the community widely in the auction process, the KPK hopes that the country's looted goods can be sold at an optimal price. The proceeds from the auction will be deposited into the state treasury. Community participation is also part of a joint effort to fight corruption for the progress and welfare of the Indonesian people.
