Tukul Student Killer In Bogor Sentenced To 9 Years In Prison, More Than Demand

The defendant ASR alias Tukul, the main perpetrator of the stabbing that killed Arya Saputra's student at the Bogor District Court (VOI).

Bogor District Court (PN) again held a trial of the verdict against the defendant ADR alias Tukul, the main perpetrator of the stabbing that killed Arya Saputra's student on Monday, June 12, 2023. The Bogor District Court Judges sentenced Tukul to 9 years in prison for his actions.

This verdict itself is greater than the previous demands made by the Public Prosecutor (JPU), which was 7.6 years in prison.

Public Relations of the Bogor District Court, Daniel Mario said, the agenda of this trial is the last agenda of handling case number 11/Pid.Sus-Child/2023/PN Bgr on behalf of Agi Saputra Radiatama's son alias Tukul.

Where, the verdict read by the Panel of Judges chaired by Iceu Purnawati, Hazairin Day, and Dewi Hesti Indria included.

First, stating that Agi Saputra Radiatama alias Tukul's son was above was proven legally and convincingly guilty of committing a criminal act of violence against children that resulted in death, as in the first alternative indictment.

Second, imposing a sentence on children with 9 years in prison at the Bandung Special Child Development Institute (LPKA), providing one-year job training at the UPT Department of the Bogor Regency Cileungsi Social Services Center.

Third, determine the period of arrest and detention that has been served by the child, all of which have been reduced from the sentence imposed and then the child remains detained.

Fourth, all the evidence was returned to the public prosecutor to be used in the case on behalf of Salman Alfarizi alias Aman. Finally, burdening the child to pay the court fee of Rp. 5,000.

"So, that was the content of the verdict of the Panel of Judges that I read back," said Daniel Mario, Monday, June 12.

Asked whether there was any information regarding the defendant ASR alias Tukul who would file an appeal, Daniel Mario admitted that he had not received any information about it.

"That's up to the defendant, we don't have any information yet," said the Public Relations of the Bogor District Court.

It is known that the Bogor District Court (PN) again held a trial of the verdict against the defendant ASR alias Tukul, the main perpetrator of the stabbing that killed Arya Saputra.

The trial, which was postponed and held behind closed doors on Friday, June 9, 2023 yesterday. Now, it will be held openly on Monday, Friday 12, 2023.

Monitoring at the location, Tukul himself came in a detention vehicle from the Bogor City Prosecutor's Office at around 09:55 WIB. The defendant was then taken to the temporary detention room at the Bogor District Court.

In less than an hour, Tukul was brought into the Children's Courtroom at around 10:46 WIB. Before long, the trial of this decision was completed and at around 11:17 WIB Tukul was brought back to the temporary detention room at the Bogor District Court, and taken to the Paledang Prison in Bogor.
